The Water Runners’ blend of Australian folk, with trad folk, bluegrass and country flavours, has connected with audiences around Australia. Their strong musicianship and well-crafted songs offer a rich storytelling experience, ranging from the serious to the seriously fun, often drawing on the landscape and stories of their home in Kiama, on Dharawal country. On their journey, they have collected song-writing awards, been ‘People’s Choice’ Australian Folk Music Award finalists, and scored Best Band in the National Busking Championships.
