Nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps, Yack is a small town with a big heart but limited parking. With thousands of music lovers flocking to town each March, getting here (and around) requires a little planning.
Getting there
We’ll be updating this section over summer with the latest travel and transport info—stay tuned for tips to make your journey smooth and stress-free.
Parking in Yackandandah
Parking is very limited in town—Yack is a small place with just over 1,000 residents, and it gets busy during festival time. Check out the Festival Map below to find designated parking areas. We strongly encourage using our free courtesy bus to get around.
Free Courtesy Bus
To help ease congestion and make moving around easier, we’re running a FREE shuttle service throughout the weekend:
Operating Times:
- Friday: 6pm – 10pm
- Saturday: 9am – 10pm
- Sunday: 9am – 4pm
The bus runs continuously during these hours.
This loop service is run by the legends at the Yackandandah Men’s Shed and connects:
- Butson Park campground
- Sports Park campground
- Backwoods & Yack Creek Distilleries
- Town Centre (walking distance to all venues)
