Yackandandah’s High Street boasts several eateries, including cafes, restaurants, pubs and take-away shops. Here you can enjoy anything from Thai cuisine, or fish & chips, to homemade cakes, pizzas and cafe-style meals. You can stock up on food at Yackandandah’s local Foodworks supermarket, which is open until 7pm. Access is via a lane off High St between the Klimt Clothing and WAW Credit Union buildings. During the festival, vehicle access to Foodworks is via the car park in Hammond St. For further information about our local food businesses, visit the Yackandandah Tourist Information’s official website.
Community Dinner and Street Stalls
There will also be a number of food stalls run by community organisations throughout the Festival. Please support these important fundraising opportunities for our local groups.
The Community Dinner, Saturday 21 March, will serve meals from 5.00pm in the Memorial Gardens, with meal tickets on sale from 3.00pm. Gourmet dinner & dessert made with love & local produce. This event is a major fundraiser for Yackandandah Primary School & Yackandandah Toy Library.
Festival Food Court
The Festival Food Court is located beside the Village Green near the Public Hall. Here, you will be able to grab some street food to supplement what’s on offer at the local eateries. The Food Court offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options; better still, it is open until midnight on both Friday and Saturday. There will also be a coffee van at this location.
On the Sunday, there will be a range of additional food and beverage options available at the Yackandandah Primary School’s Sunday Market, from 9.00am.
