YFF 2019 is but 4 short metric months away and as usual, promises to provide everything you’ve come to expect. Whether it’s musical acts from the far flung reaches of the world or exciting children’s entertainers, amazing workshops, fabulous food, unique venues, we have it all.
Speaking of venues, we are pleased to announce that next year, we will have an all new acoustic-only performance space. St James Uniting Church, which is located behind the public school only one block back from the main street of Yackandandah, was built in 1868 and has all the atmosphere and wonderful acoustic properties you’d expect for a building designed for choirs and unplugged performance.
Seating capacity using the original church pews, is estimated to be about 100, so those of you who may have missed out getting into venues of this type in previous years, can now experience their favourite performers in this special place. What’s not to love?
If you’re new to YFF or haven’t been for a while, next year’s 22nd festival promises to be the best yet so why not come and pay us a visit? You’ll be made to feel right at home by our friendly locals.
