We are calling for EVERYONE to be involved by making a lantern with artist Vicki Luke and taking part in a celebration of our amazing community. As our goal for the Festival is to reduce waste, this year’s Parade is all about re-using and recycling. The lanterns will be made entirely from 2ltr plastic milk bottles! (And other bits of recycled stuff!).

Interested? Please read below for more information.

The Parade will start later this year – commencing at 7:15pm.
Because it will be dark, and for safety there will be no vehicles in the parade this year. However, community groups and individuals are encouraged to still be involved by attending one of our workshops. You’ll get to work with artist Vicki Luke to create a whimsical chandelier for the parade.

Community workshops:
Saturday 25 February 1-5pm – with artist Vicki Luke
Saturday 4 March 1-5pm – with artist Vicki Luke
Saturday 18 March 1-5pm – for finishing off your masterpiece, if needed!

All community workshops will be held at Yackandandah Primary School in the Art Room.
